Project Team

Sasho Georgievski, PhD, Full Professor

Saso Georgievski is Full Professor and current Dean of the Faculty of Law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He teaches, among others, the courses in Public International Law, EU Institutional Law, EU Free Movement Law, and Theories of European Integration. Professor Georgievski has been project coordinator for several national and regional project; most recently, the regional research project “European Union Law Application by the National Courts of EU Membership Aspirant Countries from South-East Europe”, supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

 

Jovan Zafiroski, PhD, Associate Professor

Jovan Zafiroski is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Nice – Sophia Antipolis, France, and a Master’s degree from the College of Europe, Warsaw, Poland and Bruges, Belgium. He teaches and researches in the areas of Monetary Law, Financial and Banking Law, the Law on Financial Services, and others. Professor Zafiroski is a member of the editorial board of several journals published in the country and abroad and is author of numerous articles published in France, USA, Russia, India, Croatia, Serbia and N. Macedonia

Julija Brsakoska Bazerkoska, PhD, Associate Professor

Julija Brsakoska Bazerkoska is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. She holds a Ph.D. from the Cologne University Law Faculty, Germany, and has extensive interdisciplinary research interests and experience as well as extensive teaching experience in the field of EU External Relations. She teaches, among others, the courses in International Relations, Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU, and Multilateral Diplomacy. As an expert, Professor Brsakoska Bazerkoska has been part of several EU funded projects within the Albanian Ministry of European Integration as well as several projects within the Macedonian NGO sector.

Ilina Cenevska, PhD, Associate Professor



Ilina Cenevska is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. She holds an LL.M. degree from the College of Europe in Bruges and a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law at Ghent University. She teaches in the areas of EU Institutional Law, EU Environmental Law and Policy, and EU Free Movement Law. Her research interests extend to constitutional issues of EU law, environmental democracy, and environmental, energy and climate justice. Professor Cenevska’s work has appeared in a number of high-ranking publications, including the European Law Review, the Journal of Environmental Law, Transnational Environmental Law, the European Energy and Environmental Law Review, and others.
